DIY Canvas Tote Bag Girls Night!

Since becoming a mom, there has been a growing need for community + creating hobbies that fill my cup up. My new favorite thing has been planning gals craft nights and inviting friends over to get creative with some sort of project. This month, we painted canvas tote bags! This was an easy + relatively cheap craft night. Including links below!

Supplies:

-Canvas Tote Bags! I bought these and got a 12-pack of the large size.

-Cardboard pieces to insert to make sure the paint doesn’t bleed through. I just cut up snack boxes and amazon boxes!

-Acrylic paint - I used these leftovers from another craft night.

-Paint brushes - I used these from Target.

-Paper plates for paint, cups for water to clean brushes

I just asked everyone to bring a snack to share, then we moved to our outside tables! Most of us found inspiration on Pinterest and painted away. I love a craft girls night, because it gives people something to while chatting. This was also a group where not everyone knew each other, so having a craft to do together definitely helps break the ice!
